Philip has over 20 years’ experience of acting for and advising insurers and insureds in aviation insurance claims. Philip began his working life at the coalface of aviation insurance working for a leading Lloyds broker giving him a unique insight into how aviation risks were placed and claims were addressed in the market.

His experience extends to all the major policy forms across the Hull / Liability and War markets and the wordings approved by the AICG that become the subject of litigation and arbitration acting both as counsel and arbitrator.

Philip is currently instructed by several prominent US law firms to provide expert evidence on English law in cases brought by lessors in a number of States in the USA against insurers arising out of recent events in Russia.
