Philip sits as arbitrator and appears as counsel in aerospace disputes resolved by arbitration throughout the world.
He is a member of the panel of the American Arbitration Association and is regularly appointed by the LCIA and other major arbitral institutions to sit as arbitrator in arbitrations particularly but not exclusively where English law is applied.
Philip was appointed to the advisory board of the Hague Court of Arbitration for Aviation in May 2023, recognising his pre-eminent position in aerospace arbitration.
Philips’ industry specific knowledge allows him to assist in the resolving aviation disputes without having to be educated in the technical dynamics of the aerospace sector.
