The album was released on April 10, 1990 and was certified Gold for 500,000 sold on July 19, 1990. This was the band's first release after guitarist Lindsey Buckingham departed the band and was replaced by Billy Burnette and Rick Vito. Buckingham did play guitar on the title track however.
