Control decks need to spend less to remove than your opponent uses to cast in order to be effective, and there's not a lot of removal in Lorcana yet, so Control decks are possible, but not currently prevalent

This Uncommon instant has three modes that are all pretty useful in their own right, even though I believe the second mode will wind up being the most popular

That doesnt put Black Mage decks in a great spot in current Pauper
